Anyone aware of any letterboxes to be found near Fracksville,PA (Hmm,
it may be "Frackville"... anyway, it's not too far from the Cabela's
store off 81. I believe Pottsville is somewhere nearby. I haven't
been able to tell yet if any of the PA boxes are anywhere in that
vicinity, and am headed there this weekend. If not, maybe it's time I
plant my first! -lunaryakketyact

Pottsville is about 20 miles north of Cabelas. There are several boxes close
by though, including Pinnacle and Pulpit Rock. I don't know the status of
these boxes though, I have not searched for them yet.
About ten miles south is Blue Marsh Lake, where you will find the 4
letterboxes in Stamp Collection. I found the first two of these, in good condition,
last week. A heads up, they are long, and it was about five miles of hilly
hiking to get those two.
Good luck.

Don't know of any near Cabela's, but if you plant one let us know. Cabela's
is our pit stop when driving back from Virginia! Safe Trails!

There's one in Ashland, about 20 min. from Pottstown. I was going to
plant another one close by but didn't wake up on time..d'oh!

Hawk Mountain and Black Diamond should be rather close to Cabela's.
I have not been able to schedule time to look for either of these.

I would say don't go to Black Diamond before I do! It was placed
rather hurriedly on Christmas Day of '03. The stamp color isn't
appropriate, there's no first finder's certificate...
Not to mention I have another box ready to be planted just down the
road from Black Diamond. And I have a concept for a third. After all,
you don't want to visit the bustling metropolis of Ashland, PA (SO
j/k here) just for one box!
